Personal Finance is a one semester, "hands on" course
which prepares students for life. Students will learn about
budgets, writing checks and reconciling a bank statement, credit
cards, employment, insurance (life, health, auto, homeowners), estate
planning, filing tax returns, investment basics, saving for
retirement, and play a stock market simulation game.

Students have a
project each six weeks that counts as 10% of their
six-weeks average and is related to the curriculum
for that grading period. Mandatory.
