About Me

• Graduated from Angelo State University, 1979 - BS in Education with a minor in Psychology.
• Certified in Elementary and Special Education.  
• Known to my family as the ultimate bookworm, it has been my delight for 14 years to share my love of reading and learning with my students here at Memorial High School. I firmly believe, when given the appropriate opportunities, every student is able to learn and develop skills to become lifelong readers and learners, and I strive to encourage all of my students to grow into the best possible people they can be.  When not reading and searching for material that will motivate my students to read, I enjoy time with my grown children, three grandchildren, and my feisty Pomeranian. I also enjoy all forms of needlecrafts and photography.
