About Me

Welcome everyone.  I have been teaching at Memorial High for 24 years.  I came to Houston from a junior high teaching assignment in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada.
For the past 14 years, I have taught AP Psychology, Introductory Psychology and Sociology.  More recently, I have been the teacher advisor for the old Future Teacher course, now known as IPET or Instructional Practices in Education and Training.
I earned my B.Ed degree from the University of New Brunswick (U.N.B.) in New Brunswick, Canada. I took two years post graduate studies in primarily social psychology courses at U.N.B. and then at the University of Houston. I completed half of a master's degree in Educational Psychology at U of H at which point my husband and I (after much consideration) decided to have our last child. I hope your son/daughter will become as inspired and intrigued by the topics and subjects being studied as I am about teaching them. I look forward to getting to know your son or daughter and I am delighted that they have selected one of the courses I teach.
