About Me

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Stratford High School where I graduated in 2003. I went on to attend Sam Houston State University. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Mathematics. While at Sam Houston, I completed my semester of student teaching at Huntsville High School teaching Geometry. I began my teaching career at Stratford High School where I taught Algebra I and SAT Prep as well as coached basketball and softball. After two years at Stratford, I came to Memorial High School. Here at Memorial, I have taught Geometry and SAT Prep and continue to coach basketball and softball. This will be my third year at Memorial High School. This year I will be teaching Math Models and Applications along with Algebra I Accelerated. I look forward to another fun and exciting year here at Memorial!!

Make-Ups

Math make-ups are Tuesday mornings from 6:50 - 7:45 and Thursday afternoons from 3:00 - 4:00. A quiz or test needs to be made up the next Tuesday morning or Thursday afternoon following the date that was missed. If a student is unable to make the assigned make-up time, they can make an apppointment with me to do it at another time.

Tutorials

I am available for morning tutorials Monday through Friday. Morning tutorials will begin at 7:15 a.m. in B202. Afternoon tutorials will be available by appointment only. If you have any questions or would like to set up a tutoring time, please come see me!!
