About Me

What I most want you to know about me is that my passion for the French language and culture led me to a graduate year abroad, via Middlebury College and the Université de Paris. It was truly the most fabulous experience of my life, an experience that continues to influence my daily life. It is this passion, my travels, and my many years experience as a teacher that I enthusiastically offer to you, in the hopes that you, too, will one day share in the treasures found in study, travel, a career, or a life in a French-speaking country. Class Schedule:

1st period: French 2

2nd period: French 2

3rd period: French 3 Pre AP

4th period: lunch/Conference

5th period: French 2

6th period: French 1

7th period: French 1

Tutorials

Thursdays, after school; or by special arrangement

Make-Ups

Upon return, or by special arrangement

The scheduling of re-tests in French 1, 2, or 3 is Wednesdays after school (3:15-4:00). You must make arrangements with me in advance and a remediative tutorial must be completed before each re-test.

Class Assignments & Homework

Listed on board. Keep up.

Classroom Guidelines & Expectations

* Come to class on time and be prepared for active participation.

* Bring materials every day - French textbook, workbook, binder, paper, pencil, assignments, handouts.

* Contribute to a positive learning environment. Speak French to the best of your ability and listen when others speak. Be considerate!

* Be pro-active about completing missed assignments due to absences. Check the web page!

* Language learning requires daily practice. Practice! Practice! Practice!
